In honor of Black History Month, I wanted to touch on some mental health topics that relate to the African American community. In this video, we discuss human psychology and how many African Americans suffer from learned helplessness.

We discuss the Martin Seligman learned helplessness dog experiment and how it pertains to the black community. The goal is to teach people the truth about black oppression to develop empathy and find solutions.
